Today marks 16 weeks of being pregnant. Hopefully I can get a picture of my belly since Justin is in the field and won't be able to do it. I don't like when he's gone. I'm always bored. I don't want to cook for just me so I end up eating like crap. I'm pretty sure that I will be going home for a few weeks when he goes to Ranger School. It'll be sad to quit working but I can't stay here all alone for 2 months at the least.
Last weekend I got to go home! It was much needed and a very good time. I landed around 11 something at night and Angie and Tember met me in the airport as well as my dad and his friend. Mom was in the car with the little girlies and I was so excited to see them!! Mom also brought my green salsa and chips from El Toro and rolls that Angie made. So yummy and needed since I hardly ate. Airlines really should feed their customers. They practically rob us anyways with the cost of airfare. When we got home Kalia woke up. :) Which obviously made me happy to be able to talk with her and hang out for a few before we went to sleep. I miss those girls more than anything. Angie made me a shirt that says Baby Dunkaroo Big Bird Nitro and it's amazing. Saturday I woke up at 6 and couldn't fall back asleep so I was up to shower at 7 and Kalia woke up after I was done so we went and made pancakes together. I miss those yummy Snoqualmie Falls pancakes. We went and saw Heidi at Starbucks, Connie at church and Jason and Kate at their home before we went to the bank and then to Melaque where a bunch of girls got together. I've missed good Mexican food as well. We then went home but only for a few minutes before we left again and went to meet Carrie at the mall where she gave me a Kate Spade diaper bag! Very nice and definitely something she shouldn't have done. We went with the family to The Rock for dinner where I had some major tummy pains but after a while they went away. Kalia made crayon pizza and it was a pretty fun time. Sunday was church and then the surprise party for my dad that none of us even knew about. Mom, Angie and I went to South Hill mall to look for maternity clothes and Rachel and Claire met us there. :) Then back home we went to hang out with the family and we had a game night. Lots of fun. I miss being home and having those nights. Monday we just took our time getting ready and then went to Half Price Books and Adriatic Grill. Last stop was my least favorite, the airport. Kalia cried and of course that broke my heart. She said you were sad so I was sad, you cried so I cried. Ugh, I hate leaving and cannot wait to go back. Oh and I can't forget about the t-shirt the little girls made me. So cute and probably one of my favorite t-shirts ever. They gave it to me Saturday night and told me what everything they painted on the shirt was. Seriously, I love those girls.
Since I've been back I've worked, slept, ate a little and watched t.v. Have I mentioned I hate when Justin is gone and in the field, I do. Next week will be just as miserable except I do have my doctor appointment so that's something to look forward to. Also can't wait until May 11th when we find out the sex of the baby!!
I suppose that's all for now. I wanted to document my trip before I forgot to. Apparently I'm not so good at this blogging thing after all. I hope to get better.

One Year.
Today marks one year since I moved away from everything I ever knew to live with my Army husband. Who knew this year would be so full of so many new and wonderful things. I've lived in 3 different states and have see many others. I've decided today I will tell the story of how we found out we were pregnant.
The day was January 28th and my little friend did not make an appearance so immediately I thought, well this could be something big. We had our friend's baby shower in Seguin that day so we drove 2ish hours south and were so happy to see them again! Sunday came and still nothing so I asked Justin to pick up a test after he left work. He came home not much later and so then I took the test. We were together to see the instant results of positive but then waited the few minutes they say to anyways. We both didn't know what to think or say. They also say it's best to take the test in the morning and since this was the early afternoon we decided I'd take another test the next day. Monday morning came, Justin went to PT and when he came back it was time to take the second test. Again, positive right away. So later that day I went to the doctor to take a real test and I think we all know the outcome of that one. :) That was quite a memorable day. I sometimes wish that I would have been able to surprise Justin with the news in some cute way but really am happy we foundnd out together that first day. It really feels like forever ago that we found out. I luckily haven't been sick much at all. The only real sickness feeling was after I took a prenatal but a whole sleeve of saltine crackers cured that right up. I guess you could call my diet a sickness too since for a long time I only wanted fast food. It's disgusting, I know. But what the belly wanted the belly got. I'm really glad I think I'm getting away from that now. I also had a bad habit of whatever was on t.v. I wanted or if someone at work would talk about a certain food then I just had to have it then. Thankfully that's gone away or at least I think so. My food intake has gone down a lot since just a few weeks ago. I don't feel like I need to eat everything on my plate anymore. Dinner can sometimes be a struggle and also brings weird combinations like last night when I ate 2 eggo waffles, cheetos and a bowl of cereal. Cereal, oh cereal. That happens at least twice a day! I was also all alone last night since Justin had to work and who wants to cook for one person? I'm going to be in trouble when he goes to Ranger school and I am all alone for a long time. Who wants to come to Texas and cook for me and keep me company? Angie. Good. Thanks.
It's time for us to go get some fruit snacks. Yes, that is my latest love and go to a Town Hall meeting. What fun!
